Gen BO kicks off

The new digital communication project for and with the boys and girls of Bologna
Two social channels to describe services aimed at young people and adolescents, a free training course on communication issues and an opportunity for active participation in an editorial office aimed at girls and boys.
The IU Rusconi Ghigi Foundation, as part of Radically Adolescents, the strategy built together with the City of Bologna, launches Gen BO, an innovative participatory communication project dedicated to the city's younger generations, with the support of the Superporto agency and in collaboration with the City of Bologna, with the aim of bringing girls and boys closer to services, opportunities and events aimed at them in the area, through dedicated social channels on Instagram and TikTok platforms.
In parallel with the activation of social channels, a free training course will be launched for a maximum of 30 young people between 16 and 25 years old, selected through a public call open until 24 October 2025.
The course will be divided into three afternoon meetings at the spaces of the IU Rusconi Ghigi Foundation in the month of November 2025 and includes training activities on the following areas: basic principles of digital communication, content creation and conscious use of social networks; workshop dedicated to the CupCat platform; practical laboratory on the use of Canva for the creation of graphic content.
All participants will receive a certificate of participation at the end of the training cycle.
He participates in the Social Media Team of the Gen BO Editorial Board. Applications are submitted only by filling out an online form: there is time until October 24, 2025!
