About us
The Luigi Bombicci Educational and Scientific Museum represents a particular museum reality on the city, national and international scene.
It is a thematic museum, an expression of an important stage in Bolognese school history in the second half of the 19th century.
The museum is located inside the former convent of San Mattia and offers courses and workshops to local schools and organizes guided tours on reservation for the adult public

The Luigi Bombicci Educational Scientific Museum is a project of the Department of Education, Education and New Generations of the City of Bologna, in collaboration with the Giovanni Maria Bertin Department of Educational Sciences of the University of Bologna.
