Letters to the City 2026

with the delegates of Politico Poético II edition school year 2025/26 and the boys and girls who accepted the invitation to participate

On Monday, May 25 at 1 p.m., the Letters to the City Council of Bologna 2026 will be presented to the City Council of Bologna, as part of the new edition of Poetic Politics.
The document collects the themes, proposals and projects that emerged from the hundreds of participants during the 2025/2026 school year, and reworks them, analyzing critical issues and proposing solutions and recommendations. The Letters to the City therefore represent a choral synthesis of the work done, as well as a real advocacy action, which brings the voices collected from below to those who administer and outline the city's policies.
To prepare for this moment, a youth representation group was formed on a voluntary basis, consisting of one or more delegates and delegates for each class involved in the project. The group is meeting for four afternoons, accompanied by the theater guides of the Teatro dell'Argine, with the aim of drafting a final document that will be presented by the group itself at the session of Monday, May 25, of the City Council. A second moment of sharing with the city the fruit of the journey taken, which is also a point of view of the younger generations on the present and the future of Bologna.
