The Zenobia educational space reopens and doubles!

two places dedicated to girls and boys from 0 to 6 years old at Navile and Porto-Saragozza

After closing last June at the end of the first three-year project, the space in Via Gorki dedicated to girls and boys aged 0 to 6 reopens: born as part of the Zenobia national project. Children, Families and the Educating Community in New Spaces of Desire, was managed by the CADIAI Social Cooperative together with AICS Bologna and the City of Bologna.
From the start, the objective had been twofold:

• combat educational poverty through opportunities and paths accessible to families;
• build an educating community capable of creating bonds, including, intercepting fragility and supporting growth paths.

In three years (2023/2024/2025), Spazio Zenobia welcomed more than 600 girls and boys under 6 years old for a total of 2400 educational hours, conducted by teams formed by pedagogists, psychologists, educators, mediators, counselors and psychomotricists. The project also involved 20 social, cultural and commercial realities in the District, which actively participated, contributing to the achievement of the set objectives.

Precisely in the light of the results obtained in the three years of experimentation funded by Social Enterprise with Children, the City of Bologna has chosen to make the model structural, allowing not only the reopening of the space in Via Gorki, but also the creation of a second Zenobia Space.

The Zenobia educational space will reopen from November 27, always in Via Gorki 6 in the Navile District.

A few days later, on December 5, a new sister space, Zenobia Progetto 1-6, will be inaugurated in via Pier de' Crescenzi 14/2 in the Porto-Saragozza District. This new space will also include a Snoezelen room, initially dedicated to schools, to offer a multisensory environment designed to promote well-being, calm and stimulation.
