Strade Digitali (Digital Streets)
To understand and orient yourself. To grow without getting lost.
Online security, privacy, cyberbullying, sexting, responsible use of social media and new platforms, disinformation and deepfakes, artificial intelligence, web reputation, knowledge of the relevant legislation…
If these are all topics that interest you, scare you or intrigue you, then go to Digital Streets, the new project of the City of Bologna that tries to help you understand and orient yourself among new technologies, while you grow.
Strade Digitali tries to offer young people and families tools, languages and ideas to navigate between screens, social networks, online content and relationships, with attention, listening, responsibility and even fun.
On Digital Streets, for example, you can find Let's Talk About It at Dinner, a podcast that addresses, without moralism, the most pressing issues of digital life: you can already find the first episode online, the others will be released in the coming weeks.
Let's talk about it over dinner you can watch it on YouTube or listen to it on Spreaker
On Digital Streets you will find What digital type are you? , an interactive quiz to define your romantic relationship with digital technology.
On Strade Digitali you will also find digital postcards to reflect and observe the web with more attentive eyes.
Soon Strade Digitali will be enriched with a series of in-depth tips, a video game, an online guide and other tools designed to help you learn about, live and cross the digital world together, without getting lost.
Strade Digitali is dedicated to Vincent Plicchi, the young Bolognese creator who took his own life during a live social network in 2023 because of a violent wave of online hate directed against him.
To learn about Vincent's story and everything his family is doing to get justice, you can listen to the episode of Pablo Trincia's podcast A Warning Before We Start that talks about him.
See you on Digital Streets!
