Thursday 15th a completely gluten-free menu

On the occasion of the National Celiac Disease Week, which will be held from 10 to 18 May 2025, once again this year the City of Bologna, at the invitation of the AUSL, joins the initiative Everyone at the Table, All Together: the days of the gluten-free menu, promoted by the A.I.C. Italian Celiac Association.

Thursday, May 15, the school lunch service will offer a special menu, with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of accommodating different dietary needs, both medical, cultural and religious.
This menu will naturally be gluten-free and, at the same time, adaptable to numerous other diets, covering 85% of current specific dietary requirements

Menu for Thursday, May 15

  • Tomato rice (instead of pasta)
  • Golden Halibut with corn breading
  • Filangè or steamed carrots
  • Fresh fruit for lunch
  • Rice cakes (instead of bread)
  • Fresh fruit for a snack

The changes made to the menu have been designed to keep the nutritional intake and the balance of nutrients unchanged, ensuring compliance with the frequencies and combinations of the expected protein sources, both for the single day and for the entire food week.
