Extraordinary evening opening of Salaborsa

On Wednesdays, the library is open until midnight.

From 21 October 2026 to 26 May 2027, every Wednesday, Salaborsa remains open until midnight, with its active services: book loan and return, study rooms, spaces for reading and consultation, vinyl listening rooms and video stations. An extra opportunity to study, read, meet and experience the library even in the evening.

The extraordinary opening, as part of the initiatives promoted by Bologna di Notte, represents a new piece of the strategy with which the City of Bologna addresses the complexity of nightlife, seeking a balance between different needs and guaranteeing rights and opportunities for everyone.

Because a city that is livelier and safer even at night is a city that offers more places to visit and more options.
