the start dates, the end dates, the suspensions, from kindergarten to high school

Municipal kindergartens

• start date of educational activities: Tuesday, September 8, 2026 (including the Pezzoli Children's Pole, the Little Group that grows Roselle, the Little Group that grows Alps/Baroncini);
• end date of the activities: Wednesday, 21 July 2027 (including the additional ones referred to in art. 87 paragraph 5 CCNL 16/11/2022) with weekly confirmation of registration for the period from 1 to 21 July.

Municipal kindergartens

• Start date of educational activities: Thursday, September 3, 2026
• End date of activities: Wednesday, 30 June 2027

Centers for children and families/Territorial educational services

The opening will be organized on the basis of a specific schedule of activities starting approximately from the month of October.

First and second grade primary and secondary schools

• Start date of educational activities: Tuesday, September 15, 2026
• End date of activities: Saturday, June 5, 2027

Suspension of activities on holidays of national importance (for all services)

• October 4, 2026, the feast of the Patron Saint of Bologna and the national holiday of Saint Francis of Assisi;
• November 1, 2026, All Saints' Day;
• December 8, 2026, Immaculate Conception;
• December 25, 2026, Christmas;
• December 26, 2026, Boxing Day;
• January 1, 2027, New Year's Day;
• January 6, 2027, Epiphany;
• March 28, 2027, Easter;
• March 29, 2027, Easter Monday;
• April 25, 2026, anniversary of the Liberation;
• May 1, 2026, Labor Day;
• June 2, 2026, Republic Day.

Suspensions of educational and didactic activities as per the regional calendar (for all services)

• Memorial of the dead: Monday, November 2, 2026
• Christmas: Thursday, December 24, 2026 to Wednesday, January 6, 2027
• Easter: from Thursday, March 25 to Tuesday, March 30, 2027

Additional suspensions of educational and educational activities on days that fall between two holidays or non-working days (for nurseries, kindergartens and other municipal educational services)

• Monday, December 7, 2026;
• Monday, May 31 and Tuesday, June 1, 2027.

As defined by Regional Council resolution no. 353/2012 Determination of the calendar for the 2012/2013 school years.

Individual educational institutions have the right to adapt the school calendar, in compliance with the start and end dates of lessons, as well as holidays of national importance, according to the specific needs provided for in the context of their training offer plan.
