Financial support for students in difficult economic conditions

Every school year, the Emilia-Romagna Region approves the criteria and methods for granting contributions for the purchase of textbooks with the aim of guaranteeing the right to study and satisfying, on the basis of available resources and in a fair manner, all the questions that come from families who meet the required requirements.

You can apply for a contribution to the purchase of textbooks if:

• Do you attend compulsory school (first grade secondary school and first two years of second grade secondary school) or second grade secondary school (last three years) and your family is in disadvantaged economic conditions;
• you have not exceeded 24 years of age, except in cases of certified disability;
• your family does not exceed a certain ISEE value, defined annually by the Emilia-Romagna Region.

If you meet the conditions indicated in the announcement, you can apply through the ER.GO School portal of the Emilia-Romagna Region from September 4 to October 24, 2025 at 18.
