project for a safer digital one for families

Accompanying families, boys and girls in the conscious use of digital technologies, promoting the prevention of online risks and the knowledge of the phenomena of online abuse and violence: this is the main objective of “Together we win: safe digital for a protected childhood”, the new project promoted by the Center for Families of the City of Bologna in collaboration with the cooperative Solco Dai Crocicchi was created with the contribution of the Department for Family Policies - Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

The project offers families information and awareness-raising activities dedicated to:

  • Accompany girls and boys towards a safe and conscious use of digital devices;

  • Prevent technology-mediated abusive behavior and recognize risk signs early;

  • Strengthen parents' educational skills in the face of the challenges of the digital transition.

Series of meetings: Digital dialogues: childhood, boundaries and body

As part of the project, a free training course of four meetings is launched, aimed at parents of girls and boys between the ages of 3 and 10.

The appointments, conducted by experts in the field, will be re-proposed in several editions in the various districts of the city. They will represent a space for discussion and study on the impact of digital technology on the development of children, on the topic of consent, on the relationship with their own bodies and with that of others, as well as on the opportunities and risks of new technologies.
