From 7 to 16 November, the large collection of books returns to support school libraries

#ioleggoperché, now in its tenth edition, is the national initiative for education and promotion of reading organized by AIE | Italian Publishers Association, with the support of the Ministry of Culture through the Center for Books and Reading and in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Merit.

From Friday 7 to Sunday 16 November 2025, in participating bookstores, you can buy books to donate to schools of all four systems: kindergartens, primary schools, first and second grade secondary schools.

At the end of the collection, publishers will further contribute a number of books equal to the total national donation, donating them to schools and dividing them among all those registered who request them through the portal.
