Schools open all year round Summer 2026
Summer opportunities for boys and girls from 11 to 14 years old
Pre-registrations are open for summer activities of the Schools open all year round project aimed at those who attend a first grade secondary school in the city of Bologna (11-14 years old).
During the summer of 2026, ample space will be dedicated to recreational activities, with local outings, sports practices, musical and theater workshops, trips even out of town, theater, role-playing games, swimming pool and much more!
Some workshops are organized thanks to the collaboration with the Teatro Testoni, the Citizens in Training Project, the Bologna Civic Museums Sector, the Library and Cultural Welfare Sector and the Sports Sector of the City of Bologna.
Each school offers a few weeks of summer activities for its students in the period between June 8 and July 17; some institutions will also offer activities in September, from August 31 to September 11.
Altogether, about 3,000 places are available in the different schools and weeks.
How to register
In the brochure you will find the opening weeks of all the schools in the city. Each school publishes on its website or sends to families the information containing the details of the activities, the weeks and hours of operation, the requested contribution; there is also a link to the online form for pre-enrolling.
You can pre-enroll your son/daughter until April 3 by filling out the appropriate Google form.

Afterwards, each school will confirm to the families the acceptance of the application based on the places available and will deliver the forms to complete the enrollment.
