The sport that unites children, families and schools

StraBologna Schools is much more than a sports project: it is a journey that accompanies girls and boys throughout the school year, makes them grow through movement and leads them to experience unique emotions together with classmates, teachers and families.
The sports days at the Arcoveggio Center are the most heartfelt moment, in which children are transformed into young athletes: they race in relays, compete in jumps and experience new tests, always supported by the support of their classmates and parents.
It doesn't matter who wins: what matters is to feel part of a team, to share emotions and to discover together the beauty of movement.
The route culminates with a special event: the STRAbo Sprint in Piazza Maggiore, the heart of the city. The fastest of schools put themselves to the test in front of a warm audience, on the StraBologna weekend, living an experience that will remain among the best memories of their childhood.
And while the children are having fun, even the schools collect a concrete prize: the chance to win a cash prize for the purchase of useful teaching materials, thanks to the points earned with the participation of students, families and even... four-legged friends!
Everything continues in the classroom, with the Pontevecchio instructors who let them try out athletic games and disciplines: running, jumping, throwing... simple, inclusive activities available to everyone. It is a way to discover that sport is not only competition, but above all fun, collaboration and confidence in one's abilities.
After all, StraBologna Schools is not just a competition: it is a festival of movement, a way to be together and transmit to the little ones the enthusiasm for sport and for active life.
