cover of A soft space for parents with children 0-12 months

As part of the project The Cures That Nourish

From June to September, the Family Center in Via de' Buttieri 5/a opens the doors of the Soft Space, a protected and welcoming place dedicated to parents with boys and girls 0 to 12 months.

The space is open and freely accessible every Monday and Wednesday morning from 9.30 to 12.30.

What can you do in Soft Space?

It is a place designed for the well-being of the new family, where it is possible to:

  • breastfeed: in a comfortable and relaxed environment, to dedicate all the time and cuddles they need to baby girl and child;
  • rest: a comfortable space for relaxing and regaining energy;
  • take care of the care: there is an area equipped to change the diaper in total safety;
  • meet other parents: a precious opportunity to network, discuss and share the experience of parenting.

The calendar of activities: meetings with the professionals

In addition to the free use of space, every Monday and Wednesday from 10 to 11.30 it will be possible to discuss and talk with the professionals of The cures that nourish project by MondoDonna and the Cuore di Mamme Association on:

  • Sexuality and contraception after birth;
  • Management of crying and understanding the needs of the newborn;
  • Sleep, newborn routine and management of new parents' emotions.
