Fondo di Comunità Radicalmente Adolescenti

The 2026 edition kicks off

If you are between 11 and 20 years old and have an idea for Bologna, until March 2, 2026 you can apply to participate in the second edition of the Fondo di Comunità Radicalmente Adolescenti, an initiative funded and implemented by the IU Rusconi Ghigi Foundation in collaboration with the City of Bologna, to support, with economic and project resources, the proposals of boys and girls to be carried out in the six districts of Bologna, transforming them into concrete actions.

The Fondo di Comunità Radicalmente Adolescenti is aimed at groups of girls and boys born between 2006 and 2015 consisting of at least 3 people, with the support of an adult person.
Each group can submit only one project idea that will be carried out between May and November 2026.
The Fund has an annual budget of 30,000 euros and each group can obtain a contribution of up to 2,500 euros.

Ideas of a different nature can be proposed, such as concerts, shows, tournaments, screenings, performances, festivals, trips, exhibitions, podcasts, short films, research and studies to learn about and promote the dissemination of knowledge on topics of interest, meetings with experts, outdoor activities, improvement of spaces; purchase of furniture and equipment; training courses, cultural events, communication (including digital), editorial offices and newspapers (also online), creative workshops, training courses.

How does it work?

Collection of ideas

Until March 2, 2026, groups can submit their proposals through the online form filled out and sent by an adult mentor. Ideas must be original, inclusive, creative, and feasible by November 2026.

Selection of proposals

A dedicated team from the Municipality and the IU Foundation will examine the proposals by March 2026, rewarding those capable of creating concrete benefits and innovating the city landscape. If two or more ideas are complementary, groups can collaborate to create even more impactful projects.

Support path

In the months of April and May, the selected groups will participate in design meetings and, thanks to a method based on Design Thinking and project management, they will transform their ideas into concrete plans, ready to be developed.

Public presentation event

In May 2026, all projects will be presented to citizens during an event organized by the IU Rusconi Ghigi Foundation.

Construction on the territory

From May to November 2026, the projects will come to life in the districts of Bologna.

The Fondo di Comunità Radicalmente Adolescenti aligns with the objectives of the PN Metro Plus 2021-2027, contributing to the promotion of services for inclusion and social innovation, supporting ideas that improve the quality of public spaces, strengthen the sense of belonging and stimulate collaboration among young people.
