STEM Racing 2026
The Aldini Valeriani team at the national final of Mugello
IIS Aldini Valeriani participated again this year in the STEM Racing competition with a group of its students and students, ranking regional champion for the second consecutive year, winning the first Motor Valley Regional Championship prize. The competition took place in Imola, surpassing high schools and public and private technical institutes, coming from all over the Motor Valley region. In addition to this important goal, there was also the award of the special prize for the best team for project management of the entire competition.
The project consists of designing and creating a scale model of F1 cars as well as taking care of many aspects such as project management, communication, social, marketing, sustainability, risk management.
The team will go to the national final scheduled at Mugello on 20 and 21 June together with 9 other schools from all over Italy.
The results highlight how education can be offered that combines personal training with outgoing skills that are increasingly adapted to the technologies that pervade the world and society.
