Digital Streets
the platform designed to explore, understand and inhabit the online environment together
At a time when digital has permeated every aspect of life since childhood, Strade Digitali offers tools, languages and ideas to navigate between screens, social networks, content and online relationships, with attention, listening, responsibility and even fun.
It is an invitation to explore the digital at all ages as a territory to know, live and cross together, without getting lost.
Strade Digitali is a real toolbox for digital education, accessible to boys, girls, families, teachers, educators and educators. The various tools can be used independently, lived together as a family to stimulate dialogue between generations, or integrated into daily activities at school, in socio-educational centers and in aggregative contexts. Every resource is thus transformed into a concrete opportunity for discussion, listening and collective experience. There is no mandatory route and you can freely choose where to start.
Strade Digitali is dedicated to Vincent Plicchi, the young Bolognese creator who took his own life during a live social network in 2023 because of a violent wave of online hate directed against him. To learn about Vincent's story and everything his family is doing to get justice, you can listen to the episode of the podcast Let's Talk About It At Dinner about him.
Digital Streets is a project of the Department of Education, Education and New Generations of the City of Bologna created in collaboration with AICS | Italian Cyberbullying and Sexting Association and with Craq Design Studio is co-funded by the European Union as part of the PN Metro Plus and Southern Medium Cities 2021-2027.
