Open crowdfunding on Ginger

Until 12 June, the funding campaign is open on the Ginger platform to support the production of a short film dedicated to the story of Vincent Plicchi, the well-known Bolognese tattoo artist and cosplayer online like Inquisitor Ghost who, following a hate campaign against him, took his own life live in October 2023 at only 23 years old.

For his death, even today, there is no justice and so AICS | Italian Cyberbullying and Sexting Association, together with the independent production company Fase 3, decided to make Vincent, a short film that tells his story.

The short film directed by Valerio Lo Muzio, written by Valerio Lo Muzio and Davide Bellanca, produced by Daniele Barbiero, with the creative production of ScripTellers and curated by Giulia Cascella, will be sponsored by the City of Bologna and will star the actor Haroun Fall.

Thanks to the Un Ciak contro il Cyberbullismo project, it will be supported by the Emilia-Romagna Region and will be brought to 30 Italian schools, reaching more than 6 thousand students, to stimulate a discussion led by AICS experts and psychologists.

Filming is scheduled for September 2026, with an official premiere in December in Bologna.
