The Perugia-Assisi Peace March: a journey of values

A project to bring young people and families to the Perugia-Assisi 2025 March

The City of Bologna, in collaboration with Auser Bologna and Yoda APS, launches the project “Bologna for Peace: Support the Journey to the March”, an initiative that wants to bring 100 girls, boys and their families to take part in the Perugia-Assisi Peace March on 12 October 2025.

The main objective is not only to participate in an event, but to offer a new generation of peacebuilders an experience that reinforces the values of solidarity, dialogue and non-violence. Through direct participation, young people become active protagonists of change, bringing home a training experience that will strengthen their awareness

To ensure that participation is totally free and accessible, Auser Bologna has launched a crowdfunding campaign on the Ginger platform. The fundraiser will cover the costs of traveling by bus, logistics, insurance and educational materials that will be provided to the participants

Every donation is a concrete investment in the future of our young people and in building a culture of peace.

The project stems from the synergy of different local realities: the Municipality of Bologna, which promoted the initiative, Auser Bologna, which provides its experience in volunteering, and Yoda APS, which works with the younger generations to promote participation, responsibility and active citizenship, offering experiences that help them to grow as conscious people, capable of valuing diversity and of committing to a more just and supportive society.
