Bologna also joins the regional experimentation
The school that starts together is the new experimental educational project that will start next August 31 and will continue until September 11, 2026.
The initiative, promoted and funded by the Emilia-Romagna Region, in Bologna will be active in 22 school complexes evenly distributed throughout the municipality: the activities will take place in the morning slot, from 8 to 13, from Monday to Friday and students will be able to participate who, in the next 2026/2027 school year, will attend primary school, from second to fifth class.
The service will be activated in the weeks 31 August-4 September and 7-11 September 2026 only in the comprehensive institutes that will participate in the trial: each participating comprehensive institution will activate the service in one or more primary schools.
You can send an application for enrollment if the student in the 2026/2027 school year will attend a primary school belonging to one of the comprehensive institutes participating in the project: if the school attended is not on the list, you can enroll in another school as long as it is from the same comprehensive institution as the school attended.
If the comprehensive institution attended by the student is not among those participating in the project, it will not be possible to send the application for enrollment.

Registrations
The application for registration can only be submitted online, by filling out a Google Form available starting at 9 am on Monday, July 6 and until 11:59pm on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
Access to the service, totally free of charge, will take place on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority guaranteed to students with disabilities.

The other opportunities in the city
This experimentation goes hand in hand with all the other opportunities in the area, organized not only by the City of Bologna, but also by individual schools.
In fact, until school resumes, registrations for summer camps affiliated with the City of Bologna remain open. You can apply for registration on places still available: the list is updated every week.
Each comprehensive citizen institution, then, organized activities in schools thanks to the funds put in place by the Ministry of Education and Merit as part of the project called Agenda NORD - National Program 21-27.
