Radically Teenagers at Future4Cities
The project of the City of Bologna and the IU Rusconi Ghigi Foundation selected among the finalist proposals
Future4Cities is an award within the homonymous festival promoted by Will Media and FROM to identify the best innovation projects capable of transforming the future of cities.
From more than 200 nominated projects, the jury selected the 5 best projects for each category (Climate Action, Bottom Up Projects, Local Economic Development, Urban Transformations).
Among the five projects selected for the Urban Transformations section, there is also Radically Adolescents, the strategy with which the City of Bologna, together with the IU Rusconi Ghigi Foundation, has rethought the relationship between cities and adolescents. The result of an extensive participatory process that involved more than 700 people and created the first shared programming of educational policies in the city, the strategy promotes the participation of young people and adolescents, intervenes on schools and public spaces, transforming them into civic garrisons, and renews institutional communication to bring it closer to the new generations through 10 concrete actions.
